Do you spend a lot of effort and energy trying to burn stomach fat; yet find yourself unable to get rid of it? I know of quite a few people who have been driven to despair because their belly fat simply refuses to go away.
Most efforts to burn stomach fat end in failure because they are misdirected. I know of someone who did sit ups and crunches every day, but her stomach actually stuck out even more than before. It is very possible to burn stomach fat but you have to do the right things to make this happen. More importantly, you have to avoid doing some things because they are subverting all your efforts at weight loss.
Stomach fat can be burnt if you do a combination of two types of exercises. You have to do plenty of cardio in order to burn fat from all over your body and not just from over your stomach. This is the only way that the effect of your crunches will be visible. What happens in most cases is that people focus on the stomach area and don't do enough cardio.
You have to be absolutely certain that you are doing your crunches and sit ups correctly in order to derive any benefit from them. They will not have any effect if they are done incorrectly and strain your back and neck instead of your abdominals. You could also hurt yourself if you do these exercises incorrectly.
Your diet has the ability to help you burn stomach fat. A diet rich in eggs contains lots of proteins and Vitamin B12 which is known to aid in breaking down fat cells. Dairy products are also great at helping you burn fat. Choose low fat options so that you can benefit from the protein and calcium they contain. Use olive oil to cook your food in because this oil actually prevents fat from settling on your midriff.
If you have not let go of any bad habits such as eating junk food and drinking sodas, this is the time to do so. Try and eliminate all the baked goodies and cookies you love to eat. Fruit make excellent desserts, but a bit of dark chocolate would be best if you feel that you really need something sweet.
Follow these tips to burn stomach fat and you will be rewarded with a well proportioned body in very little time.
